(locate) in the west part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (广西壮族自治区), Baise neighbors Guizhou, Yunnan and Vietnam (越南). It is connection point of the three provinces Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan.
The Qing government set Baise City in 1730, the name of the city appeared in the history. In 1929, Deng Xiaoping and other great leaders started Baise Rebellion (百色起义). They （create）Youjiang Revolutionary Base (右江革命根据地) here. And in 2002, it was approved to be under the direct control Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
