I am Sam. Today is Friday and it is a big day for our class. We would go on a trip to meet the national football team and visit some of the best football players in our country. How exciting!

We were asked to meet at the school gate early this morning. Before we left the school yesterday, our teacher told us to be on time. "Be here before 7:30 tomorrow morning. If you are late, the school bus will leave without you. "

Last night, I was so excited that I could not fall asleep until late night. When the alarm clock(闹钟)woke me up this morning, it was 6:30. "It is only a 30-minute bus ride from home to school. I still have a lot of time. " I thought. I hit the OFF button on the alarm clock and went back to sleep. I just wanted to sleep for five more minutes.

What a pity! I missed the chance of a lifetime!
