My family and I went on vacation in Las Vegas last year． It was an exciting trip． But on the last day， there was something bad．
My family went to watch a show． There were many people in the cinema watching it． When the show was over， the people started to leave． My nine﹣year﹣old sister walked with me． But a few minutes later，some people separated us． I couldn't find her！I thought she would be with my parents． But when I found them， my sister was not there． After two hours， we still didn't find her． We had to go back to our hotel． To our surprise，my sister was at the hotel． She said a kind woman took her back．
The thing taught me an important lesson． I need to look after my sister well． And there are always good people．
It is nice to hike with kids，but you must know something about hiking if you want to take a happy，relaxing trip．
Start early，know what to do in a heavy rain and carry sunglasses．Take snacks，toilet paper and a bag with you．Take a whistle（口哨） for kids．You may use it if children run away．
Find a partner．Kids are naturally competitive ， and you can use this to your hike．They will try to do better than each other when they go hiking．They also will keep each other interested in something new．
Do something easy．It's good to play easy games．You can say"Does anybody see anything red that matches my shirt？"Kids will be easy and happy to answer this kind of questions．
If you aren't excited，they won't be either．When your kids find something they are interested in，you must show your interest in it，too．
An exhausted （筋疲力尽的） looking woman came into the doctor's office.She said， "Doctor，there are dogs all over my neighborhood.They bark （犬吠） all day and all night，and I can't get a good sleep."
"I have good news for you，" the doctor said，taking out a small bottle. "Here are some new sleeping pills （药片） that work like a dream.A few of these and your trouble will be over ."
"Great，thank you." the woman was very glad to go back home with the pills.
A few weeks later，the woman came again，looked worse than ever .She said，"Doctor，your pills are not good at all.I'm more tired than before."
"I don't understand how that could be，" said the doctor，shaking his head， "Those are the strongest pills on the market."
"That may be true，" answered the woman， "but I'm still up all night running after those dogs and when I finally catch one，it's hard to get him to eat the pills."
An American girl named Katy lived happily with her mother in Oregon State.One year，she was going to turn eight and it was time for a big celebration.Katy was very excited about celebrating her birthday that day.Her mother had already made the house shine with beautiful balloons.different kinds of toys and flowers.She had also prepared many snacks like chocolate chip cookies，strawberry muffins，cheese cakes，fried chicken and lots of lemonade to drink.

After they had left，Katy saw the same boy still standing across the street.Her mother said gently， "You should invite him in and share food with him，Katy.Your happiness will double if you share!""Katy understood and invited the boy in.Later，she felt happy helping someone in need.And she got a new friend，too.

Great weather!It was sunny yesterday.We arrived in Beijing at 9：00 in the morning. We had breakfast on the plane.We went to the hotel by taxi.1 lunch and a short rest，we took a bus to the Summer Palace. Robert went to Paris to visit his friends last weekend.His friends met him at the airport on Friday afternoon and drove him to the hotel.They ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant and went to see a film after that.
Robert and his friends set out（出发） early on Saturday morning for a farm.There they went fishing，enjoyed delicious food and sang and danced around a camp fire（篝火） late into the night.
They got up late on Sunday morning.So when they got back to Paris，it was about a quarter to three in the afternoon.They drove straight to the airport because Robert didn't want to miss his plane back home.Robert only stayed in Paris for two nights but he had a great time with his friends.
