My name is Lin Jia. I'm 11 years old. I'm from China. My parents work in a big factory(工厂). They go to work from Monday to Friday. I have a brother. He is 15 years old. He likes playing basketball(打篮球) with me on the weekend. 

My brother and I are in the same school. Every morning, we get up early and go to school by bus. My brother is in Class 2, Grade 9, and I'm in Class 6, Grade 7. I'm a new student in my class. There are forty—two students in our class, and twenty are boys. We have lessons from 8:00 am. to 4:00 pm My English teacher, Miss White, is from England. She is strict with us in class. But she is nice to us after class. We have five English classes a week. Now we can speak many words.

People can do the shopping at morning markets(早市), stores, supermarkets and shopping malls. They are different shopping places. 

Morning markets are open in the morning. Grandparents like to go to the morning market. Things there are always cheap(便宜). They can buy fruit, vegetables and many other things at very good prices there. 

Stores are not very big. There are food stores, bookstores, fruit stores, clothes stores, stationery(文具) stores and so on. Mothers like to go to food stores, fruit stores and clothes stores. School boys and girls like to go to bookstores and stationery stores. For me, these two kinds of stores are the best places to do the shopping. 

Supermarkets are large self-service(自助) stores. Here people can buy things such as CDs, pens, clothes, TVs, food and so on. Parents like to go to the supermark et on weekends. 

A shopping mall is a big building(建筑物). There are many different kinds of stores in it. There are movie houses(电影院) and restaurants in it, too. Young people like to be there for a day. They can have a good time there. It's really a great place for them. 

①Do you have a favorite place—a place with family and relatives(亲戚), good weather and fun things to do?I'm glad I have. New Jersey is my favorite place. I like it for many reasons(原因). 

②The first reason is my family and relatives. Over half(一半) of my relatives live in New Jersey. When I visit them, my cousins and I play games and have fun together all the day. My uncles and aunts like taking me to the park. There we can ride roller coasters(过山车) and play in the water. We all feel happy to stay together. 

③The second reason is the weather. It is not hot, and it's always cool. When I think about my visits to New Jersey, I can just feel the little wind in my hair. It's so great to stay there. 

④The third reason is crabbing(捕蟹). If it's the crab season, we often catch(抓) crabs. We keep the blue crabs and the snow crabs, and we let the others go. Once, my cousin catches a crab. It is so big that it can't get out of the crab bag! Finally, we help it get out, but it hurts one of its legs. Poor crab!

⑤For all these reasons, New Jersey is my favorite place. 

Let me tell you something about Mrs Wang. 

 She works in a school Mr Wang is a doctor, and he is busy Their son is lovely and he is only five years old. He is not tidy and his things are everywhere. 

 Look!There are many beautiful flowers in the living room A big TV is on the wall, and the so fa is blue and soft. She cleans(打扫) the room every day. 

 She is warm hearted(热心肠的) She often helps the old find their lost things Her telephone number is 677—8899. If you need help, you can call her. 

 She always goes to the store near her house She buys lots of things for her family there. She feels tired(疲倦的) but happy. 

 You can see many beautiful photos in her WeChat Moments(微信朋友圈) She likes using WeChat, too. She learns many new things on WeChat such as giving out and grabbing red envelopes(发和抢红包). 

I have many teachers now and I love them all, but I think I love my English teacher Sophia best. 

Sophia is 1  the UK, and now she is in China She loves Chongqi ng 2  very much Do you know 3  she likes for breakfast? Bread 4  milk? No, she doesn't She 5 noodles or porridge And she usually has lunch at school As for 6  , hot pot(火锅) is her favorite and she usually 7  it in the restaurants(餐馆) on Saturday and Sunday Sophia has a 8  named Jack and a daughter named Mary They are in China now They go to the same 9  but in different classes They love the hot pot, too, just like their 10  

We have English from Monday to Friday So Sophia is very 11  She is nice and happy All my classmates 12  her and her classes very much She often 13  English games and sings English songs with us When we have questions, we like to ask 14  for help And she is very glad to help us learn English well.

I'm Alice, an English girl I live  London with my parents and sister We often have four meals(餐) a day: breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. On weekdays we always have a quick breakfast My sister and I only have some bread and then go to school  we don't want to be late My father drinks some coffee and my mother (have) some salad We don't have lunch at home on weekdays. My parents have it in the restaurant. My sister and I have it at school. Tea time is usually at about 4:00 pm We have cakes, chocolate or  (banana)
