Hi, I'm Wei Yan. There are many kinds of delicious food in the world. But I like beef noodles best. My parents also like beef noodles. But my mother is busy. She works in a hospital. She is a famous doctor. So my mother often has no time to cook. When I want to eat beef noodles, I often go to the restaurant.

Yesterday I went to a restaurant to eat beef noodles. On my way back home, I thought I should learn to make beef noodles. If I can cook them, I will make beef noodles for my mother on her birthday. It is on Wednesday, October

First boil some noodles. Next cut up some beef. Then mix them up and add some relish and sauce. Now you can eat them! They not only look good, but also are good for our bodies. 

It is usually very expensive to take the special lessons to get a pilot's license(执照). But for Selina and her 7 lucky classmates, things are much easier. They are taking a program to learn how to fly a plane. The lessons are all free. 

Selina,a 17-year-old girl, is in Chicago. She has a hard life. Her parents are from Africa and they are very poor. They live in a poor neighborhood and Selina isn't able to go to a good school.

Selina likes planes and the sky. When she isn't happy, she looks up at the sky. The sky makes her happy. Selina wants to be a pilot. Now she is getting closer to her dream. The special program is called Tuskegee Next. It helps the young people to become pilots. These people are all from poor families. Learning to fly a plane can help them in different ways. By taking the program, they learn to follow rules and become more confident. The program will help more young people like Selina. 

Chinese food has a long history of more than 5,000 years.  Chinese food covers a lot of the delicious tastes from all over the country. 

Of all Chinese dishes,Cantonese cuisine(粤菜) is my favorite. I fell in love with it the first time I went to China as a traveller during my summer holiday And the Cantonese always make a dish with fresh ingredients. And Cantonese cuisine has many kinds of foods, like Shumai, People fill Shumai with many things like pork and vegetables.  It tastes very delicious with some salt. When I go to a Cantonese restaurant,Shumai is the dish that I will first choose to order. 

I am also very interested in Sichuan cuisine. It has a really long history from the period of the Qin Dynasty(秦朝). Now Sichuan cuisine is famous all over the world. It mainly uses different kinds of sauces. If we don't add these sauces,the taste of Sichuan cuisine won't be so good. 

I love Chinese dishes so much. 
 

I'm Jason. As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a cook. I don't know why. Neither （两者都不） of my parents is good at cooking. They both work in a school. They are always very busy and don't cook often. 

When I was in middle school, once our English teacher asked us to talk about our dreams. I said I wanted to be a cook. She said being a cook was boring and tiring. I still remember she said that she didn't think I would become a cook. 

But I did it. I started to work as a cook when I was sixteen, and I'm still a cook. I have worked in good restaurants as well as common ones. Now I often encourage （鼓励） my children to cook at home. I teach them how to cook and how to appreciate （欣赏） great food. In fact, I'm trying to help them learn to appreciate the good things in life. 

What will life be  in 2050? Mr. Black is one of （great） scientists in Green City. He says everything will be free in 2050. And there lots of robots in our life. They will work in （factory）. People will only do simple jobs. They will help people do some housework. And people will have longer （vacation）. People will have more time to take their pets like snakes or dogs a walk. And some of them will go to moon for vacation. Mr. Black says it will take us only a day （fly） there by rocket. I think Mr. Black's （predict） are great. I hope they can come .
