Things are fine here. I finished my end-of-year exams last week and today I got my 3 . Luckily I did OK4 time. I had a really hard time with science this term. I wasn't5 to find my worst report from my Science teacher. She said I was lazy, but it isn't true. It's just that I find science really 6 . Another disappointing (令人失望的) result was in history. My 7 teacher said I could do better. The 8 news is that my Maths teacher said I was hard-working. My French teacher said that my listening and speaking were very good, 9 I need to read more. Here comes your CHANCE! Youth Explore has prepared you with a THREE-DAY SUMMER PROGRAM! You can take part in many hands-on activities and meet with live animals- giraffes, pandas, tigers, and so on! More information about the program in as follows:
Age: Students aged 8~16
Groups: There are 2 programs for you to choose from. Each program needs at most 15 students.

When Sally was a child, she went to the city park with her mom on a sunny morning. She felt very unhappy. Her mom saw that and asked why. Sally told her mother that she felt so sorry to see so much rubbish on the ground.
Her mom looked around. There were pieces of paper, boxes, glass bottles and a lot of other rubbish everywhere. "What can we do?" asked Sally sadly." I'm sure you will think of something, "said her mom.
As soon as Sally got home with her mom, she painted a picture of the park and wrote a sign in large black letter at the top of the picture. The sign said, "PLEASE KEEP OUR PARK CLEAN". Later, she took plenty of bags and went back to the park with her mom. Sally put up her picture on a big rubbish box.
The children at the park ran over to see what was going on. Sally handed each of them a bag. "Let's clean up this place," said Sally. Then they began to pick up the rubbish, talking and laughing. Soon, all the bags were full.
Then Sally's mom led them to put the rubbish into different kinds of rubbish boxes. When they looked at the clean park, they all had a strong feeling of satisfaction.
From then on, Sally has been keeping doing the cleaning and sorting(分类) rubbish. More and more people joined her to play a part in environment protection.
Nie Xiaobo lives in a village (村庄) in Shandong Province.
Years ago, when his wife was cooking, a fire happened. His wife lost her life and Nie got hurt. "The fire burnt down my house and burnt my body badly. " He said, "I wasn't able to work and my family was quite poor. "
After the fire, Nie stayed at home all day by himself and seldom talked to others. One day, one of his friends sent him two parrots as pets. One year later, the parrots had more than 10 little parrots.
Village officials (村官) got a good idea. They went to the pet market and found that parrots were quite popular pets, so they helped Nie build a breeding base (饲养基地) of parrots. Nie was happy and worked hard. He bought books on parrot raising and asked some experts for help.
At his breeding base, Nie has 11 buildings full of 2,000 parrots. Last year, Nie sold more than 3,000 parrots and made over 100, 000 yuan.
"I'm living a happy new life. I'm helping others in my village raise parrots. " He told the reporter.
My uncle has a computer shop. He loves computers very much. He can draw pictures and write letters on the computer. He can send messages and play games with the computer，too.
Computers now are much better than before. Many years ago a computer was as big as a small house. Today computers can be small. Computers are also much cheaper，so a lot of people buy computers from my uncle' s shop.
Every computer has a keyboard and a monitor （显示器）. The keyboard（键盘）has all the different letters and numbers. You can type words on the keyboard. The monitor is like a television.You can also use a mouse to do things like drawing pictures. You can surf the Internet and you can do lots of other things on the computer now.
