Like many other young boys, I didn't know what I wanted to be when l was a middle school student. My mother advised (建议) me to be a teacher like her, but it seemed that I was not interested in it. l pot my goal(目标) after I went to high school. I got a part-time job at the school radio station and l found it was interesting. Most people in the United States like fast food, but if you think that American people don't like cooking, you are wrong. It's true that most Americans eat fast food for their breakfast and lunch, but they also think cooking is interesting. Parents see the importance of teaching their children how to cook, and most Americans say that home cooked meals are the best.
Americans have their own way of cooking. For example, baking(烘烤) is the most popular way of cooking in America. Most American families have ovens. American cooks pay attention to(注意)the balance(平衡) of food. In planning a big meal, they try to cook meat, a few vegetables, some bread and often some sweet food. They also like to make the meal look beautiful. There are many kinds of food of different colors, so the meal is healthy and looks beautiful, too.
Chicken soup is a kind of traditional Chinese food. It is very delicious and it's good for our health. And I think it's easy to cook. Do you like chicken soup? If you follow my steps, you can enjoy the delicious chicken soup.
First, you need a pot. Clean the pot and pour eight big bowls of water into it. Then, heat(加热)it as you do other things for cooking. You'll need some chicken, carrots, salt and pepper. Cut up the chicken and carrots. When the water boils(煮沸), put the Chicken into the pot. Wait for about 20 minutes and add the carrots. Then, cook for about 30 minutes. And then add salt and pepper and cook them for another 30 minutes. Finally, move the pot off the oven. When the soup cools down, you can enjoy your chicken soup.
Now we use robots here and there. They play an important in our lives. They can always do the same work and they never feel tired or (boring). Sometimes they do some (danger) work, like exploring(探索) outer space.
Robots don't have the same brains as (human), and they don't have any senses (感知)，. Then how do they work? Well, they have computers inside the bodies to work our brains.
Robots are (become) smarter. In the they may be just like the ones in movies. They can speak, walk and e think. However, will they become (clever) than us? The answer is "No". We always have new ideas, but they don't.
