Then she would drop in potatoes, chicken, meatballs and sometimes even steak When it was ready, we would mix it in the spaghetti, serve it on plates, and sprinkle (撒上) cheese on top. It always left our bellies full, our hearts happy and our house smelling yummy.

I sat down when Dad made me a plate. I felt like a boy again. We talked about those old times and laughed over the memories, both good and bad. And I noticed something too. I didn't feel cold anymore. My heart was warm, and my spirit light,

Dad and Nana have been gone for years now. I still miss them both every single day. Although my daughter and I both know how to make Nana's special sauce, we don't cook it as often as we should. No matter how hard I try, I can never get it quite right. Maybe 1 am missing an ingredient. Or maybe, it was just the love with which they cooked it that made it so delicious. Either way, this winter, I am going to make it again. I need its warmth. I need its goodness.

Each of us has dreams and goals for our future. What makes us study and make progress each day is closely connected with our personal dream and goal.

But why do you have 'dreams and goals, you still end up with nothing? What separates successful people from the dreamers is their persistent (锲而不舍的) action. When you learn your lessons in school, you must work hard and not give up. You will often find some of your lessons very hard. Try and keep trying, and you'll be sure to successfully deal with any difficulty you meet with, If we have a hard lesson today, let us try our best to learn it well and then we shall be prepared for a harder one tomorrow.

For me, act is the most important thing for success and that's to Take Persistent Action (Act). If you say, "I can't do it" and give up, you can never do anything valuable. However, "I'll try "creates wonders. Let's remember that there will be obstacles in our life. We must face them bravely and solve them, Success is not something that falls down from the sky. Most successful people made their dreams come true because of their persistent action.

"Hello, everyone! Welcome to Tiangong Class."A special lecture began on Tiangong space station about 400 kilometers above Earth on Dec. 9, 2021. Lasting for about an hour, the space lecture was given to millions of students. Three astronauts, Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu showed how they live and work on the space station and did some interesting experiments. :This ↑space lecture was greatly different from ! the one 8 years 6 before. Plants in space一The lab of the space station has many conditions that the Earth lab does not have, such as the weightless environment. The important jobs for astronauts included cell (细胞) observation and"feeding”plant life. In the lecture, Ye showed experiments about cell growth in a weightless environment. As early as 2016, Chinese scientists tried to grow rice on the Tiangong II space lab to study how plants grow without an Earth-like environment.

Use it or lose it一The human body grows with the pull of Earth's gravity (重力). But in space, our bones and muscles (肌肉) don't need to support our body's weight. This will cause bone and muscle loss. Astronauts can lose up to 20 percent of their muscles after a couple of weeks. That is dangerous for astronauts because they will be too weak to work.

This keeps their muscles strong. Wang also showed students how she walked on a machine, and rode a bicycle. Astronauts exercise like that every day to prevent muscle loss.

Young voices -Students were really interested in the lecture. A 13-year-old boy from Tianjin said, "The most exciting thing I learned is that astronauts "fly" all the time because there is no' gravity.

Yin Peixin, an 11-year-old girl from Hubei said, "My favorite experiment is the one with the table tennis ball. Wang put the ball into a glass of water, but the ball didn't float (漂浮). This was so magical?"

The Family Education Promotion Law(家庭教育促进法)has six chapters and 55 articles. They guide parents and guardians and tell them how to bring up children. The law says parents should follow scientific methods and ideas in order to become good parents. A public system has also been set up to the quality of family education. When parents get difficulties, they, can tum to the system for help. With the law, parents' wrong doings can be corrected. When parents refuse to fulfill. (完成) their parental responsibilities, the law won't them, like asking them to pay a fine, or sending them to prison. Instead, it will teach them to do, and help them better practice family education.

The law responds to public worries and questions over the "double reduction" policy. It will improve collaboration (合作) between schools-and parents, help reduce the on students, improve the quality of education, and better protect students' rights.
