Today was my first day in England and I learned something interesting about the weather here. It was cold in the morning, so I put on lots of clothes before I went to my new school. But when I was outside, the weather quickly changed. The clouds went away, the sky turned blue and the sun started to shine. I was so hot! At lunchtime, I wanted to go to the playground, but the sky was black and it was raining hard. I had no umbrella. I thought, "How can I go home after school?" But when school ended at 3 p.m., there was no rain. Now it was windy and cool. At 3:30 p.m., I put on my coat and walked home. My new friend Kelly said, "In England, you can have four seasons in one day." It's really true.

Sam loves space best. He loves reading books about space. He loves to look up at the moon at night. He loves writing stories about man in space. Sam also likes drawing pictures of spaceships.
He knows a lot about spacemen. Spacemen study the stars. They study space. They go there by spaceship.
One night, Sam went to bed. He dreamed about going to space. He had a funny round hat on his head. He had gloves on his hands and big boots on his feet.
"Hello," said Neil Armstrong." Do you want to take a walk with me on the moon?""
"Yes, but there's no air on the moon. I can't breathe without air," said Sam.
"You can wear a spacesuit to help you breathe."
"Wonderful! I'd like to go with you. I can go to the moon," shouted Sam.
The Earth is a beautiful place. There are forests and rivers, mountains and fields, seas and oceans. But there is a lot of pollution. People put rubbish into the sea and under the ground. This pollutes the Earth and lots of animals and plants die. What can we do to protect the Earth? Let's listen to our Mother Earth.

My favourite season is autumn. We celebrate our Mid-Autumn Festival in autumn. In the lunar calendar, it's on August We usually watch the moon that night and look for Chang'e.
When I was a little boy, my grandma told me the story of Chang'e. In the story, a beautiful lady named Chang'e lives on the moon. They're delicious!
It's on October 1. We usually have a seven-day holiday! We can do many things together. I like taking a trip with my family during the holiday.

D. Xi'an is a major historical site. Former capital of China, Xi'an was previously known under the name of Chang'an, and it is one of the oldest cities in China.
E. Sanya is known as Eastern Hawaii. It has the most beautiful seaside on Hainan Island. You can walk on the white soft beach and look at the blue sea. You can also have a taste of various seafood.
F. Harbin is the famous Ice City, and it attracts visitors by the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. The festival usually begins from January and lasts for over one month. It provides visitors a whole world of ice and snow.
Every summer holiday, I visit my grandparents in the country. Last year, I learned about an (usual) hobby on my way to my grandparents' home. It was a sunny Sunday. The sun shone (bright). I was on a train to my grandparents. There (be) a lot of people on the train. I (see) a man reading a book about gardening. I said to the man, "That seems like interesting book." He said, "Yes, it is a good book. But l am reading for a very special reason. It (have) a green cover. My hobby is collecting (book) with green covers." What a strange hobby! It is very hard find books with green covers. He spends a lot of time in bookstores. If he sees a good book with a green cover, he (buy) the book. Strange, you might say, but that's his hobby!
