Acropolis of Athens
As the name suggests, one of the most amazing cultural world heritage sites Acropolis of Athens has the location of Athens, Greece. It is a heritage site since 1987. The site is an ancient castle that is on a high rocky outcrop over the city of Athens containing the remains of the Part heron and other ancient important structures. It is one of the most famous monument (遗迹) in Europe.
Rapa Nui National Park

know it as the heritage site since 1995. These are a Monolithic(庞大而单一的) human figures that are carvings by the Rapa Nui people from rock between the years 1250 and 1500. These have overly large heads three-eighths the size of the whole statue and Paro which is the tallest, almost 10 meters high with 75 tonnes of w eight.

Chichen Itza is a place in Mexico. It is a heritage site since 1988. One of the most amazing cultural world heritage sites, Chichen Itza was a large pre-Columbian city. It is a gift by the Maya people. Being a major focal point in the northern Maya lowlands for centuries, it was one of the largest Maya cities. Today, Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico. It receives around 1. 2 million visitors each year.
Taj Mahal

It is white marble mausoleum(陵墓) which was built between 1632 and 1653 under the order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Some dogs are exceptional. Take Chaser, an American border collie(边境牧羊犬) regarded as the "smartest dog in the world", who could recognize and remember 1 , 022 nouns—one for each of her toys. In Germany, another border collie, a male named Rico,practiced "fast-mapping", or figuring out the names of new things with the speed and cleverness of a three-year-old child.
Yet such examples of dog genius are often "about only one dog", says Claudia Fugazza, an ethologist who studies dog cognition(认知) at Budapest's Eotvos Lorand University. She and her colleagues asked owners of 34 pet dogs of various breeds(品种) to teach their dogs names for two separate toys. Out of those 34 animals, only one dog passed the test一a border collie named Oliva. "These results mean talent must be something special," says Fugazza, lead author of a new study on the experiment.
The scientists looked for dog owners worldwide via social media, then asked them to play fetch with their dogs daily in their homes while repeating the name of the toy, a process that lasted three months. Once a month, with a scientist present, the owners tested the dogs一 the study participants included both adults and little dogs一 by asking the dogs to fetch one of two toys by name. Dogs that succeeded were then given a new toy and new name to learn. Despite the intensive training, only Oliva learned to match a single word to a toy- in fact, she learned21 names in two months.
"None of the breeds learned a thing. It was such a surprise," Fugazza says. To check if the study design worked, the scientists also tested six border collies that could already fetch some toys by name; as predicted, all six of those control dogs, including a dog named Nina, learned additional names.
It's interesting that 18 of the 33 dogs that failed the test were also border collies, Fugazza points out, showing that the breed isn't always high performing.
Because of such individual difference, the scientists next plan to track the genetics(基因)and history of a variety of dog breeds to try to identify the factors that produce such smart creatures.
Traffic jam is a problem for cities around the world, with some looking to electric
scooters(踏板车) to ease the problem, and others to AI-enabled traffic lights. But one company believes the solution is to build a network of driver-less higher-speed pods(吊舱) that ride around cities suspended(悬挂) from a steel track.
In June, Belarus-based u Sky Transport opened a 400-meter test line in Sharjah( 沙加). From the outside, the electrically powered pods are white while the inside is designed to feel like a first-class airline suite, including mood lighting, music and floor-to-ceiling windows. With two padded armchairs and two fordable seats, the vehicle being tested can carry up to four passengers. A complete city-wide network could support 10, 000 passengers per hour, uSky says, with vehicles at present able to travel up to 150 kilometers per hour.
The company says its aim is to free up roads and ground spaces that could be used for greenery, walkways and public leisure spaces." The ground space is completely over-saturated, and people are tired of traffic jams. People are tired of emissions," says Oleg Zaretskiy, uSky Transport's CEO.
According to uSky, while one kilometer of subway can cost up to $ 150 million to construct, this system costs around $ 10 million. And by using less structural materials, it reduces carbon emissions. The company has also developed a similar technology to transport goods containers, carrying up to 48 tons at a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour.
Although she cautions that it would require careful planning to avoid traffic jam in a busy city-wide network, Haag believes it could still be a widely adopted solution if the promises of improved mobility and sustainability(持续性) are kept.
Zaretskiy says u Sky is also looking beyond Sharjah. "We can see that the most promising areas for us are in the Middle East and Asia- places where there is natural growth of population, such as India and Pakistan," he says. Haag adds that pods are more suited to countries where public transportation is under-developed and there is increasing demand for mobility solutions. The company hopes to finalize its first commercial contract(商业合同) by the end of the year in Sharjah, Zaretskiy adds, meaning u Sky pods could be running properly by 2024.

Once I was praised because I did something meaningful on my pocket money.
