With so many volunteer activities (志愿活动) to choose from, you need to ask yourself a few questions before choosing what to do.
Do you love reading? Then you can think about helping at a library. Do you love science? Go to a science museum. Do you want to save the earth? Join in a park cleanup.
Would you like to be a doctor or nurse in the future? You can work at a hospital to check it out. Are you thinking about being a vet? Helping at an animal center will help you a lot.
You have 4 hours every other week? Then you can do any of activities above. If you don't have much time, try to join in a cleanup. It doesn't need much time.

If you're under 16, you can volunteer at a soup kitchen, food bank, or zoo.
Most volunteer activities need communication (交流) with others. If you volunteer at an animal centre, you'll be working mostly with animals, and as a gardener, you'll work alone.
