Hi, friends! My name is Sandra and I live in an old town. My town is not big. It covers an area of 14,000 square meters and there are only 1,000 people living there. It often rains. The rainy season starts from March and lasts for seven months.
There is a square in the town center. It's called Market Square because there is a market there every morning. I always go there with my grandmother on Saturday mornings. Every May, there is a rock music festival in Market Square. It's very exciting. At the end of the square there is a museum. Every Friday, there is an exhibition (展览) in it. We can see old photos of the town and learn a lot about it at the exhibition. Opposite (在……对面) the museum is a theater called Happy Hole and it is just in front of my community.
My community is quiet and tidy. There is a swimming pool in our community. My home is a townhouse (联排房屋) with three floors. On the first floor, there is a kitchen, a bathroom, a toy room and a dining hall. My parents' room, my room, a guest room and a large living room are on the second floor. I really like the living room because we can see the pool from our window. Also, there is a comfortable sofa. In front of the sofa, there is a coffee table and some flowers are on it. The top floor is an open-air balcony (露天阳台). We always hold parties and have fun there.
East or west, home is the best. For me, my home is the warmest place and I love it so much.
