One day, a crocodile(鳄鱼)swims in the river. He sees a monkey. The monkey plays in a tree on the bank(岸边). The crocodile swims near the monkey and says, "Hey, little monkey! Do you want to eat bananas? "The monkey answers. "Yes. Where are they?" "On the other bank of the river." "But how can I get there? I can't swim." "I can take you there." So the monkey jumps onto the crocodile's back. In the centre (中心)of the river, the crocodile says to the monkey,"Haha…There are no bananas on the bank. You're foolish(愚蠢的). I want to eat your heart(心脏)." "But I put my heart in the tree. Let's go back to take it." So the crocodile swims back. When they swim near the bank, the monkey jumps up into the tree quickly(迅速地).
