A Play

The Moon
There is air（空气） on the earth. But there isn't air on the moon. There are rivers on the earth. But there aren't any rivers on the moon. There are animals and plants on the earth. But there aren't any animals or plants on the moon. There are humans（人类）on the earth. Are there any humans on the moon? No, there aren't any! But there are footprints（脚印） of humans on the moon.
The Camel and the Pig
A camel and a pig meet on a road. "You are very tall," says the pig to the camel. "You are very short," says the camel to the pig . "Being tall is the best," says the camel. "Being short is the best," says the pig.
They walk along the road together. They are very hungry. They see a vegetable garden. But the gate of the garden is locked（被锁上的）."Watch this!"says the camel. She reaches（伸长） her long neck over the wall and eats the vegetables. "Watch this!" says the pig. He squeezes（挤压） his short body under the gate and eats the vegetables. Then they get to know that: Sometimes it's good to be short, and sometimes it's good to be tall.

A New Teacher
It is Monday morning. Beth and Dan see a tall black box in the classroom. A funny noise comes out and a robot walks out from the box! He is Mr Arty, the new teacher. In the maths class, Mr Arty writes on the board,"10 x 10 =120". In the art class, he draws a cat, but he tells the students, "This is a lion".Beth and Dan think that Mr Arty is hard-working but not very clever.
After lunch, Beth and Dan play football. The ball hits（撞击）Mr Arty! Mr Arty starts to run very fast. He can't stop! He runs right into the head teacher. The head teacher is so angry. He wants to put Mr Arty into the trash bin（垃圾桶）！Beth and Dan come to help. They fix（修理）the Robot and make him a great PE teacher.
Greedy Rabbit
A rabbit goes into a garden. He sees some carrots. "I like carrots," he says. The rabbit eats the carrots. He eats a lettuce. Then he sees a big cabbage. "WOW! This is a big cabbage. I will eat it too," he says. Suddenly, a farmer comes in and he sees the rabbit."Get out of my garden!" the farmer shouts. The rabbit runs down the road, but he is too full to run fast. The farmer runs after the rabbit. The rabbit sees a hole and he jumps into the hole. But the hole is too small and the rabbit is too big. He gets stuck!"I can't get out," he shouts. The farmer wants to get the rabbit out. He pulls and pulls, but the rabbit is still stuck in the hole.
After two days, without any food to eat, the rabbit is out of the hole, but he is hungry again. "I can't be greedy（贪吃的）anymore!"he thinks.
