In October 2003, Shenzhou V flew into space. It took a Chinese taikonaut into space for the first time. The taikonaut is YangLiwei. He spent about twenty – one hours in space. He did a lot of work there. In June 2021, Shenzhou XII flew into space. It took three taikonauts and it's the first time for the Chinese to enter the space station (空间站). In June 2022, Shenzhou XIV flew into space. The three taikonauts will stay in space for six months. They will do lots of important work in space.
