In America, there are chores for children of different ages, American people think it's important to tell children their duty in the family. Use this list of age chores for your children.

A man went to see a doctor.

"Open your mouth." the doctor said.

The man opened his mouth and the doctor looked in quickly.

"It's clear what's wrong with you. You need more exercise." the doctor said.

"But doctor" the man said." I don't think so."

"Don't tell me what you think" the doctor said." I am the doctor, not you. I know what you need, I see hundreds of people like you. None of them get any exercise. They sit in offices all day and in front of the television in the evening. What you need is to walk quickly for at least 20 minutes a day."

"Doctor, you don't understand." the man said,"..."

"I don't want to hear any excuses" the doctor said," You must find time for exercise. If you don't want to get fat and have health problems when you are older."

"But I walk every day." the man said.

"Oh, yes, and I know what kind of walking that is. You walk a few feet to the train station from your house, a few more feet from the station to your office, and a few more feet from your office to a restaurant for lunch and back. That's not real walking. I'm talking about a walk in the park for treaty minutes every day."

"Will you listen to me, doctor!" the man shouted, getting angry with this doctor who thought he knew everything.

Life is always full of stress these days. How do you usually solve your stress? Do you know doing housework is helpful in solving strees? In fact, doing something like washing dirty clothes may rally make people relaxed. "Doing some housework such as folding clothes or cleaning the room is a good way to face our stress without taking am medicine," says Carol Clark, a successful psychologist (心理学家) in New York. She often advises people who are under lot of stress to try doing housework every day. "While washing something," she says, "you can imagine you're washing away some trouble in your life."

However he is just told to go back home and do some housework. I really don't know who is crazier, the psychologist or the man!

Feb 12th. 2020. a boy named Dalian became a volunteer in Wuhan No.1 Hospital. Because of COVID-19, Wuhan had been locked down(被封锁). He wanted to save more people. In the hospital, he was responsible for(对……负责) taking out rubbish, sweeping the floor disinfecting (消毒) the hospital, dealing with used protective suits防护服) and bringing meals to patients(病人).

The young man Dalian, had to work 12 hours every day, changing his protective suit three times day.

While working, he couldn't drink anything or go to the bathroom. He also can't touch the patients. It is a risk.

Dalian was afraid of getting sick at first," When I entered the hospital, I was kind of nervous and felt like I couldn't move." he said. But after he saw more patients get better with the help of the doctors and nurses, he become happier and braver. He told all the patients not to give up. He tried his best to help them.

He sang the songs 10 cheer sick people up and he also communicate with them heart to heart.

Dalian's story has gone viral (走红的) online. People were surprised by his experience, and described him as having" a heart of gold".

Bill was used to (walk) home after school. One day, he felt tired. When he had a rest under the tees, he heard a noise (come)from the bushes(灌木). He went over to see what it was.

Behind a bush, he found a black dog. Bill went back home as soon as he could with the dog and showed it to his parents. Bills dad found the dog had a (break) leg, so they brought doctor for animals by car.

On the way, Bill's parents decided that Bill could keep the dog if they couldn't find its. (own).

The next day Bill put signs like "FOUND DOG BLACK" around his neighborhood. He also wrote his phone number on them. Who lost the dog? Do you know?

Cindy is blind and she (live) with her family. During the day, she helps to feed the chickens, clean the room and collect water. She really likes helping her Mom chores. Cindy's mother teaches her at home because she doesn't go to school. Cindy said," I want to go to school and enjoy (be) there with some friends. But if I can't go, I'll learn from my mom at home. When I grow up. I'd like to be a doctor (look) after myself and help people."

Millions of (数百万的) (child) in the world can't go to school because they are blind. Some people are working hard to help them lo have a chance to go to school.

It was a rainy day. Mr. Green, a doctor at Green Hospital, got a call for an important operation (手术). He knew the of saving a life. He hurried (匆忙) to the hospital.

Seeing him, the father cried out," Don't you know my son is at the risk of his life? Why didn't you come here quickly?"

Mr. Green said," I am sorry. Please could you , your emotions (情绪) so that I can do my work well."

"What? What if your son was in ? My son is facing death while (而) you are keeping him waiting. Why don't you do something?" said the father angrily. Mr. Green smiled," I'll do my . Two hours later, Mr. Green got out of the operating room. He said," Your son is OK!" And without waiting for the father's reply, he left, saying, "If you have any question, ask the nurse."

"Why couldn't he wait? I have some questions about my son's shouted the father. The nurse answered,

"His son died yesterday in a road . He was at the funeral (葬礼) when we called him to operate on your son.

There was a tree in my garden. One day, two birds came to the tree and built a house for their three newborn (新生的) babies.

One day, I heard the sound of the little birds. I ran to the garden and found two babies eating food on the ground. I thought they dropped (掉出) off their house, so I decided to help them get back to their house. At that time, the father bird and the mother bird came back. They had some food for the third baby. They put the food on the ground, far away from the third baby. To get the food, the baby had to fly to it.

The third baby was hungry, but she was afraid to get out of the house. To my surprise the father bird and the mother bird just stood there and did nothing.

After about ten minutes, the third baby bird didn't have any other choice. She slowly went to the border (边缘) of the house and began to fly. She flew off from the house. Finally, the third baby bird landed safely on the ground and found the food.

These birds taught me a lesson; if you want your food, you will have to learn to fly.
