Back about 20 months ago I started college and fight against with everything, such as classes and friends. I quickly became depressed and angry at myself for not being able to do better in school and having no1because of poor communication skills.

Things kept that way2my 19^th birthday. My parents sent me a cake, which was a great cake. But I remember having this large cake but certainly3to share it with. I ended throwing the cake away after having one piece. That night I was so depressed that I4to go outside to the low temperature of winter. I put my earphones in my ears, went outside and5about 2 miles at 11 p.m. on my birthday.

When I got back inside I was satisfied. I was6of what I was able to do. The next night I did the same. I wasn't good at running so I couldn't run7, but you know that I went outside and did something. A month went by and I kept running and8swimming. Finally, I even9to go to the gym, where I used to be afraid.

Looking back I can see that10helped me be away from my depression. However, it didn't11do that. At the gym I began to make friends and12everything with them. Back at my college, I became13to see people playing Super Smash Brothers and ask if I could join.

So go forward to the present now. I exercise every day, and look forward to that hour and a half when I can do14I love with people who love it as well. I hope this helps someone who may be or have been in a15situation.

Now China is developing very fast and some young foreigners are amazed at some new technologies. They call them Four New Great Achievements in a recent street interview. A young man was taking a walk with a professor. As they went along, they saw a pair of old shoes lying in the path. They thought it belonged to a poor man who worked in a field nearby. When he put on the other shoe, he was surprised again to find the other coin. He then looked up to the sky and said aloud some thanksgiving words to the person who gave him the coins.

The student stood there deeply moved, and his eyes were filled with tears. "You have taught me a lesson which I will never forget. I feel now the truth of these words, which I never understand before, "A small act of kindness brings great joy," he said.

In choosing a friend, one should be very careful. A good friend can help you study. You can have fun together and make each other happy. Sometimes you will meet fair-weather friends. They will be with you as long as you have money or luck, but when you are down. They will just leave you alone. How do I know when I have found a good friend? I look for certain qualities (品质) of character, especially understanding, honesty and reliability. Among all of these, I look for understanding in a friend first. A good friend tries to understand how another person feels. He is not quick to judge. Instead, he tries to learn from others. He puts himself in the other person's place, and tries to think of ways to be helpful. He is also a good listener. That is the most important for me.

Also, a good friend needs to be honest. He does not only look for faults（过错）in others but also notices the good points. In short, a friend will try to understand me and accept me. Another quality of a friend is reliability. I can always depend on a good friend. If he tells me he will meet me somewhere at a certain time, I can be sure that he will be there. If I need help, he will do his best to help me. If I am in trouble, he will not get away from me.

There is a fourth quality that makes a friend special. A special friend is someone with whom we can have fun. We should enjoy our life, and we would enjoy our friendship. That is why I like friends who are fun to be with. A good friend likes the same things I like. We share experience and learn from each other. A good friend has a good sense of humor, too. He likes to laugh with me. That is how we share the joy of being friends. And I know that he is looking for the same quality in me.

Industrial robots are on the rise and 5G robots are without doubt the future. Nowadays, a lot of companies are working on perfecting the technology.

Since 2013, China has been the world's largest market for the use of industrial robots. The country believes robots can help deal with the pressure from the rising cost of taking care of plants. According to China Xinhua News, a 5G farming robot has been put to use in greenhouse in East China's Fujian Province. It has been connected to the 5G network to collect information about plants since last week.

With a cartoonish look, the robot named Xiaorui was developed by Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (FAAS) and Fujian Newland Era Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. It has a round base with wheels, allowing it to move in all directions. Its head is fixed with two cameras as the "eyes" and two cameras as the "ears".

The 5G robots can not only collect information about wind, CO2 and temperature but also send real-time pictures and videos about the plants to a control room much faster. According to Zhang Peiqiang, general manager of Fujian Newland Era Hi-Tech Co., Ltd, the information can be used to find out the plants' health condition and pest (害虫) control condition.

"Fast information collecting is just the first step," Zhao Jian from FAAS said. "We expect the robot to be closely connected with the farming process. One day, it may even help people make management decisions".
