Jose Brown is a man from the USA. And he is (五十) years old. He works as a street cleaner and doesn't have much money. But that doesn't stop him from bringing the books to many children.
Jose has a good (习惯) of reading and he says it comes from his mother. When she is free, she (总是) reads lots of books with him. Books about (科学) are Jose's favorite. "To me, I think books are the best friends for children, " Jose says. He hopes that every child in his city can have books to read. But new books are at high (价格) in the bookshop. So Jose wants to help the children in the poor (贫穷的) places.
Jose often finds books from the garbage (垃圾). Every day, Jose drives the truck to get old books all around the city. He also (买) a lot of second-hand books. Now there are about 30, 000 books in Jose's small house. He turns his house into a small (图书馆). Jose gives away books to some schools in poor places, too. Now he is (受欢迎的) in many schools and he wants to help more children in need.
