John's friends always call him Mr Going-to-do. Do you know why? John always says he is going to do something, but he never does it. Every Saturday when John talks to his friend, Mike, he always says he is going to do something. "I'm going to clean my house today," he says, or "I'm going to wash my car tomorrow. " or "I'm going to clean the garden next week. " Mike usually says, "Are you going to do that, John?" He knows John is not going to clean his house, nor wash his car, nor clean his garden. Mike often says to his son Dick, "If you are going to do something, then do it. Don't be another 'Mr Going-to-do'".
