The Great Wall of China, a wonder of the world, is called "The Ten Thousand Li Great Wall" in China. 它是世界上最长的城墙。 It's over 4000 miles long, 6-7 meters high and 4-5 meters wide. The Great Wall has a history of more than 2000 years. All the walls were joined up in Qin Dynasty. In ancient days it was difficult to build such a wall. Our forefathers (祖先) carried, lifted and laid big bricks and stones with simple tools. Each brick and stone fits well, even though they didn't have our modern machines! All the work was done by hand. Thousands of people died while building the Great Wall.
