Li Yundi, the famous Chinese pianist, always loves music. He was born in 1982 in Chongqing. While still a small boy, he could play songs and difficult pieces of m. He began to learn the accordion at the aof four, and he started to learn the piano when he was seven. In October 2000, Li Yundi took part in the 14th Chopin IPiano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. He wthe first prize in his group. He was also the fChinese pianist in the 70-year history of the Chopin International Piano Competition to rsuch an honour.
