China set out the Shenzhou-16 spaceship on Tuesday, 30th May, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (酒泉卫星发射中心) in northwest China.Three taikonauts(宇航员)，Jing Haipeng,Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao are going to stay in space for about five months. Jing is the commander (指挥长) and pilot taikonaut.
He is also the country's first taikonaut to go into the space for a fourth time, while Zhu and Gui take their first trip to space. Zhu works as a spaceflight engineer(工程师) and Gui is the payload specialist(载荷专家) in the Shenzhou-16 mission. They get different jobs to do in the country's Tiangong space station.
From March 27 to 31, a primary school in Yunnan held its drama festival. Each grade prepared one play. The school wanted to bring some wonderful plays to school life.
All the plays were about traditional Chinese stories, such as The Old Man and the Mountain, Serve the Country With the Utmost Loyalty(《精忠报国》) and Kong Rong and the Pears. The school hoped to show Chinese culture to the world in English. The students chose the stories and wrote most of the scripts (剧本).The teachers helped them rehearse (排练). Lots of fun things happened during the rehearsal.
On the big day, the six grades took turns to perform (表演) their plays. The plays showed the braveness, loyalty (忠诚) and wisdom of ancient Chinese people. All the people enjoyed these great stories and wonderful performances.
