Just then a bird down. ‘It rained so hard,' he said. ‘My nest fell out of the tree. ' The two princesses wanted to their friends. Everyone went up the hill. Linda and Kelly dug a nice new hole for the bunny. ‘Thank you,' he said. Everyone found twigs and leaves. They built a new nest for the bird. ‘Thank you,' he said. Kelly and Linda shared their picnic the bird and the bunny. That's the end of the story," said Barbie. Kelly and Linda looked up. The rain stopped. "We like your story!" said Kelly.

December 25th is Christmas Day. In most Western countries, it is the most important day in a year. All the people come back to their homes. On Christmas Day, bells bring everywhere. The ringing bells tell people Christmas is coming. People sing and dance day and night. They have a good time.
Most families buy a Christmas tree for their children. And there are some presents in the tree here and there. People also put presents in children's stockings. In many places, Father Christmas brings presents to the children. He is a kind man and in red clothes. There is a big bag on his back. In it, there are a lot of presents.
On Christmas Day, people enjoy a lot of nice food. But some poor people have no houses to live and have no food to eat. They die of cold and hunger on that day.
Now the roads are crowded with cars, trucks and buses. They are not safe for people.
Every day many people are killed while they are crossing the road. Most of these people are old people and children. Old people are often killed because they usually cannot see or hear very well. Children are killed because they are not very careful. They don't look or listen before they cross the road.
Cars, trucks or buses cannot stop very quickly. If they are going very fast, they will travel many metres before they stop. People do not always understand this. They think a car can stop within a few metres. It is very hard for people to know how fast a car is travelling. They may think it is going slowly when it is going very quickly.
The only safe way to cross the road is to look both directions（方向）, right and left. Then if the road is not busy at all, it is safe to cross. The right way to cross the road is to walk quickly. It is not safe to run. If people run across the road, they may fall down.
Our eyes are very important to us. They are l cameras（照相机）. We can see beautiful things around us w our eyes. But if we don't take good care of them, we may not see clearly. H do we protect our eyes?
On a s day, the sun shines brightly. We should w our sunglasses. When we read, we shouldn't stay too close to our books and the light（光线）shouldn't be too bright or too weak. We s read in the bed. It is b for our eyes. We shouldn't play g on the computer for a long time either. We should have a rest after we use the eyes for a long time.
