Tom's grandfather bought Tom a bird last month. He liked it very much. He kept it in a small cage (鸟笼). He gave it water and food every day. However (然而), the bird wasn't happy. It never sang songs. Tom was sad.
Yesterday Tom went to the park with his parents. He saw many birds there. They looked very happy and sang songs. Tom said to his mother "I think birds don't like living in a small cage.
