Many years ago in a small village, an old man was hired （雇用） to clear up the spring （泉） on the mountain.
He walked around the spring every day, and swept away all the leaves and other dirty things in the water.Soon, beautiful swans （天鹅） came to the clear spring, and the village became a popular place for visitors.
Years later, one evening the town leaders （领导） had a meeting.When they looked at the salary （工资） list, one of them said, "Why do we keep hiring this old man year after year？I don't think we need him or his work."Later, they asked the old man to leave.
For several weeks, nothing changed.When early autumn comes, the leaves began to fall off the trees, and leaves are here and there in the spring.A few days later, the water was much darker.Only a few months after the old man left, all the swans left, also the tourists.
Quickly, the leaders held a special meeting and asked the old man to return to the village.

I began to dance after my best friend took: me to an after-school dance class.I was 14 years old then.After every dance class, I always have to stretch out （伸展） my legs and back, as dancing is hard work.It feels like as much exercise as a sport or going to the gym.

Liu Ming is from Sanya.It is a beautiful city in Hainan.Sanya is in the south of China.It has lovely beaches.It's hot all year round.In winter, it's not cold at all.Many people still go swimming there in this season.Sanya is well-known for its nice weather. That's why so many people love to spend winter holidays there.
Li Hua's home town is Xi'an, It is an old city ____a long history.There are lots of parks and old palaces in Xi'an.There are some popular restaurants in the city too.People love to go to the restaurants to taste delicious food.
