I'm taking my family to other countries to have a trip. My wife and I and our two children are all going along. My elder brother will go with us, too. He has never been overseas and he is even more excited than the children. My father is so old that he'd like to stay at home and take care of the house.
We're going by train to New York, and then take a ship to Europe. When we arrive in Europe, we're going to some countries for sightseeing (观光). We'll go to places either by train or by bus. We're going to fly home.
It took us a long time to decide where to go, but I think we'll have a very interesting trip. We'll go to England, France and Italy. We also talked about how we would go to Europe. At first we wanted to fly because it would be faster and would save more time, But my brother likes to take a boat trip and the children like that, too.

On morning Mrs Peter said to her husband, "Jack, there is a meeting of our ladies club (俱乐部) at Mrs. Green's house at lunch time today, and I want to go to it. I'll have you some food for your lunch. Is that all right?"

"This tin (罐头) of fish," Mrs. Peter said. "And there are some cold, boiled potatoes (土豆) and some beans (豆子) here, too. "

"Was your fish nice?" She asked.
"Yes, but my feet are hurting," he answered.
"Why are they hurting?" Mrs Peter asked.
"Well, on the tin it was written: Open the tin and stand in hot water for five minutes. "
Have you ever been ill? When you are ill, you must be unhappy because your body becomes hot, and there are pains all over your body. You don't want to work. Instead, you want to stay in bed, feeling very sad.
What makes us ill? It is germs (细菌). Germs are everywhere. They are very small and you can't find them with your eyes, but you can see them with a microscope(显微镜). They are very very small and there could be hundreds of them on a very small thing.
Germs are always found in dirty water. When we look at dirty water under the microscope, we shall see them in it. So your father and mother won't let you drink dirty water.
Germs aren't found only in water. They are found in air and dust. If you cut your finger and some of the dust ( 灰尘 ) from the floor goes into the cut, some of the germs would go into your finger. Your finger would become big and red , and you will have much pain in it. Sometimes germs would go into all of your body, and you would have pain everywhere.

B: Yes, but I don't.
A: Oh, maybe you could get a part-time job in the evening.
B: No,. My parents want me to stay at home every night. I argued with them about it.
