Mike: We went camping. There were lots of grapes, but we couldn't eat them.
Sarah: Why couldn't you eat the grapes?

Sarah: We can go together in August. It's our summer holiday.
Mike: Sounds great!

Thursday, May 1st Today was a sunny day. We got up early in the morning. We came to Shanghai by train and we arrived at 4 p.m. I was tired but excited. |

Friday, May 2nd I had a sweet dream last night! After breakfast, we went to the Oriental Pearl Radio TV Tower by subway. It was built(建造) in 1994. It is 468 metres tall. We could see the whole city from the top of the tower. It was amazing! I took pictures of it. After that, we had a nice lunch in the restaurant there. |

Sunday, May 4th Today was our fourth day in Shanghai. We went to Shanghai Disneyland Park. It is the first Disneyland Park in Chinese mainland. I played games with my father there. It was exciting. I also saw, lots of cartoon characters(卡通人物) and took lots of pictures of them. I ate some delicious food, too. Before leaving, I bought some gifts for my friends. We went back Beijing by plane at 6:00 in the evening. It was a good and unforgettable trip. |
Mr and Mrs Jackson live in a big city. They live a busy city life. They went to take a trip to relax(放松) themselves. So this holiday they went to a countryside. They went here by bus.
The place was quiet and clean. The air was very fresh. They enjoyed it.
One day, they went for a walk early in the morning. When they walked by a farm, they met an old man sitting in the warm sun in front of his house.
Mr Jackson asked him, "Do you like living in this quiet place?"
The old man said, "Yes, I do."
Mr Jackson said," What are the good things about it?"
The old man answered," Well, the people here know each other. They often visit me and have a chat with me. I also often visit them." Mrs Jackson smiled and said, "That's interesting. And what are the bad things?"
The old man thought for a moment, and then said, "Well, the same things, really."
