There lives a king in a country near the sea. The king is not happy because his people never listen to him. He asks a wizard(巫师) for help. The wizard thinks of many ways, but none(没有一个) of them works.
One day, a young woman tells the king that she can help him. She tells the king two spells(咒语). "Use the first one before you ask someone to do something, and use the second one when he or she finishes the thing," she says.
Then the king has a try. He sees Julie playing with a cat. The king says to her, "Please, Julie, let me have a look at the cat."
Julie is very surprised(惊讶的) because she never hears the king say that before. After she gives the cat to him, he says, "Thank you, Julie." Julie smiles.
It works! People starts to like to listen to the king. The king is so happy that he gives the young woman lots of money.
The wizard asks the young woman, "Where do you learn the magical(神奇的) spells?" The young woman tells him, "I get them from school. My teacher always tells me to be polite to others."
