The 2013 Talent Show in our school was a night to remember! It was a great1Students, parents and teachers2, sang and played instruments. There were more than thirty3. Our English teacher Jason Cruise4an English song. He won the prize 5 the best performer. 6a reporter from our school magazine interviewed him, he said that singing was7important to him. The prize for the funniest act8to Paul Black, because he danced like a drunken (喝醉的) man without music. And his classmates said he was the9boy in the class.

Long time ago, there were two talented boys, John and Joey. They showed great talents from an early age, and they did better than others around.
They grew up but they chose different ways. John used all of his talents to find a good job. He joined in many activities and visited the most important people and places. Everyone thought that he would be the most important person in the world.
But the second young man, Joey, was different. He always took a heavy responsibility (责任). He thought he should help others. He was always busy looking for ways to help others.
One day, bad things happened (发生) and they met many problems. John didn't know what to do. But Joey always tried his best to solve all kinds of problems. He thought some good ways and didn't let the bad things affect (影响）the people in his town. From then on, he was more famous than John.
John then knew that our best talents are not only for ourselves. He learned from Joey that we should always help other people.

You will go to the kitchen when you are hungry. You will give orders to the kitchen robot. The robot will prepare the food for you in a few minutes. Then it will send it to you.
In the kitchen you will find a special food machine. The food machine will tell you what your body needs. It will help you eat healthily. The food machine will connect with the kitchen robot. The robot can get signals(信号) and messages from the food machine.
After having a meal, you can go to your home office. You will work at home and you don't need to go out to work any more.
You will have a special information screen. You can get any information on the screen.When you receive a message from a friend in America, your information screen will be turned on automatically(自动地). Your friend's face appears on the screen.The screen will translate English into Chinese. And the Chinese words appear at the bottom.
Sometimes people come into your life and you know at once that they were sure to be there. They serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help find out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be: your classmate, neighbor, teacher, long-lost friend or even a real stranger. But you know that every moment they will affect (影响) your life in some serious way.
Sometimes things happen to you. At the time they may seem terrible, painful (痛苦的) and unfair. But later you realize that without getting over those difficulties you would have never realized your further ability and strength. Everything happens for a reason and nothing happens by chance or with good or bad luck.
The people you meet affect your life, and the successes and failure (失败) you experience, create who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
Enjoy every day even every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and really listen. You should set your sights high, hold your head up, tell yourself you are a great one and believe in yourself.
You can make your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.
