Athletes in the Olympic Villages-in the Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou zones-have been sharing their moments with the panda in photos and videos, while Bing Dwen Dwen fans have patiently waited to buy products from licensed stores and through official online channels.

The enthusiasm for the mascot(吉祥物)products has led to a shortage of products, with many netizens complaining that it's too difficult to get a Bing Dwen Dwen doll.

Zhang Zhicheng, a spokesman for the National Intellectual Property Administration, said the difficulty buyers face in getting the mascot products shows the country's stronger and more comprehensive protection of Olympic symbols. "As the mascot has Olympic symbol protection, it also receives patent(专利), trademark and copyright protection, "Zhang said at a news conference organized by the 2022 Beijing Media Center on Monday.

Comprehensive IPR protection(全方位的知识产权保护)guarantees the rights and interests of IPR owners, and also promotes the spread of Olympic culture, he said. "Comprehensive IPR protection is our way of keeping Olympic rules. It's also symbolic of our respect for every athlete, and encouragement for technological innovators at this sports event," he said.

Sun Lei, an IPR lawyer at Yuanhe Partners in Beijing, said that difficulty in buying a Bing Dwen Dwen doll reflects enhanced awareness of the importance of protecting Olympic symbols, adding that thanks should go to the country's early warmings on the issue and other measures.

After Bing Dwen Dwen was unveiled in 2019, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympics issued a notice on the protection of the mascot. It warned that no individual or department could use the image or name of the mascot for private reasons. It added that using the image in anything other than the official designs was also banned.

The document issued on Tuesday explains in detail the specific measures to carry out the policy decision of the central authorities on May 31 to allow all couples to have a third child, as the country faces the continuous challenges of a graying society and a decreasing birthrate.

The document said financial burdens, a shortfall in the provision of day care services and women's career concerns were among the major factors that have reduced couples' willingness to have more children.

The document asked local governments to simplify the handling of matters such as the issuing of birth certificates, vaccinations for newborn babies and applications for social security cards.

Broader support will also be rolled out in a wide range of sectors to improve the provision of day care services, the document said,  adding that kindergartens will be encouraged to admit children younger than 3,the lower limit under the current admission policies. The document suggests couples with younger children will have access to tax reductions, subsidized(补助)housing and breastfeeding leave. Inspections will also be made to ensure pregnancy and childbirth do not endanger women's career opportunities.

The document noted that China will continue to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of families with only one child. Efforts will also be made to explore setting up an improved leave system for offspring from one-child families to care for their parents.

As the authorities are still changing and improving rules to adapt to the new third-child policy many couples have found themselves in limbo. Under China's family planning rules, couples usually need to get official documents to expand their families.

To address this, the authorities in some parts of China, including the Tibet autonomous region and Anhui province, have allowed couples to go ahead with their plans to have more children, and they will be able to apply for the official documents once the new rules are in place.

A . the rights and interests of one-child families will continue to be protected B . offspring from one-child families have had longer leave to care for their children C . families with only one child are worried about their future D . offspring from one-child families have no time to look after their parents
    3. (3) The underlined word "limbo" in paragraph 6 probably means "a situation that is______.
      A . suitable B . uncertain C . hopeless D . satisfactory
    4. (4) Which measure is NOT explained in the document issued on Tuesday?

In this video, I am going to give you a guide on how to become a real alpha man. And there are three traits that you need to understand.

And this is easier said than done. When a man does not know his purpose, he is kind of like a leaf blowing in the wind. And he's easily influenced by the environment around him. Usually it takes a very long time to uncover your purpose. And just actively seeking out your purpose is a trait of an alpha man.

The second trait may sound very simple but it's of great importance. Alpha men go after what they want in life. If they see a business opportunity, they will pursue it. If they don't like something within their life, they will go and change it. There are so many people today who complain and are not happy with certain aspects in their life. But alpha men are doers.

The third and final trait of alpha males is that they have passion. It's important to have passion in life and to be passionate about living life. Positive energy is infectious. Just like how negative energy is infectious. I'm sure we have all experienced being around someone who is very negative and we feel negative just by being around them. And when you are around other people, they also feel that they're under your umbrella of negativity.

So those are the three most important traits of being an alpha man. Be authentic to yourself. And live life on your own terms. .

    A. If they have a question, they will ask it.

    B. The same idea goes for being around positive people.

    C. Many people are not able to share their opinions and beliefs.

    D. And they just sit by while opportunities and problems pass them by.

    E. If you enjoyed this video, please share it with a friend or leave it a like.

    F. The first trait to becoming an alpha male is to know your purpose in your life.

    G. But they are not willing to take the steps and to take the action to fix those things.

"If there  (be) benefits of catch-up(加紧弥补)sleep, they're gone when you go back to your routine. It's very short-lived. "  said Kenneth Wright, director of the sleep and chronobiology laboratory at the University of Colorado at Boulder, oversaw(监督)the work.

    A Terrifying Experience

"If mum finds out that I'm going to the beach, I'll be in big trouble." I muttered(嘟囔)to myself softly.

I crept slowly down the stairs and tried to walk casually into the kitchen. As I was walking towards the back door, mum asked without looking up from her "dish-washing", "Where are you going?" I answered back without hesitation, "I'm going to the garden to play." After I got out of the kitchen, I breathed a sign of relief. My plan had worked out fine so far. I scaled(攀爬)the fence and jumped onto the muddy field next to my house and started running towards the bus-stop at top speed.

After half an hour, I was at the beach scanning the crowd for my friends, Jimmy and Bobby. After a while, I spotted them near a coconut tree. I ran towards them and got into my swimming trunks(泳裤). For about an hour, we played volleyball happily.

Suddenly, Bobby hit the ball too hard and the ball fell into the sea. Just as Bobby was going to pick up the ball, the tide came in and carried the ball further and further away from the shore. I wanted to show off my swimming skills so I decided to get the ball for them.

I dived into the water and started swimming at a steady pace. After swimming for about ten minutes, I became tired but when I saw that the ball was only a few feet away from me, I put in an extra burst of speed. However, just as I was going to grab the ball, a very strong current swept the ball further away from me. At that moment, a string of weed tangled(缠绕)up with my feet and l could not swim properly.

I struggled to keep afloat but it was no use. "If I had listened to mum and dad, this would never have happened," I thought silently.

    注意:

    2)请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。

Paragraph 1: Finally, after struggling for a minute or two, I had no more energy and got pulled underwater.
