My birthday is on the 4th May. On that day, my mother bought me a big birthday cake and cooked many delicious food. I invited my friends to my birthday party. After the meal, we sang songs and played games. In the afternoon, we went to the park in my dad's car. In the evening, my grandfather and grandmother came to my house for dinner. My uncle, aunt and sister came, too. My sister gave me a present. It was a model of Chinese spaceship. I had a very happy birthday party.
In many English families, people eat four meals a day, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
People have breakfast at any time from seven to nine in the morning. They eat porridge（麦片粥）, eggs or bread. English people drink tea or coffee at breakfast. Lunch comes at one o'clock. Afternoon tea is from four to five in the afternoon. And dimer s at about half past seven. They have meat or fish with vegetables. After that they eat some other things like bananas, apples or oranges. But not all English people cat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day. Their meals are breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea and dinner and all these meals are very simple（简单）.
