At night, we sleep in the treetops. But bad people come and steal our babies. They also put out wooden stick covered with glue（裹满胶水的木棍）to catch us. We try to fly away, but our feet get stuck（被粘住). They cut off our flight feather（飞羽）and put us in small boxes. The food they gave us is bad. We get scared and sick easily. Over half of us die(死) on the way to cities.
In fact, we don't want to be pets. We want to fly freely with families.
Christmas is a very important festival in many countries. It's on the 25th of December.
People put Christmas trees in their homes. And there are many colorful lights in the streets and shops. At Christmas, people often give presents and send cards. They love this festival just as Chinese love the Spring Festival.
