I heard this and tears came to my eyes. To my8, the old man said, "Oh, little girl, just stop doing this. Come with me and I will buy one9you. " To see what would happen, I followed them. They walked to a10and there the old man really got her a uniform, which must have cost(花费) him a lot. The girl was11and said, "Thank you so much for doing this, grandpa." Then she12, leaving the old man smiling.
As the old man decided to leave, I stopped him and whispered(低语) in his13, "You are really a great hero! Thank you for your14! "My own sadness had gone. It had been taken away by the light of this moving act. I began to realize that a little act can15someone's day.
My name's Blackie. I have a special job. I help a boy, Sam. Because he cannot see.
Every day I take Sam to school. I am with Sam at school all day. In P.E. classes, I always walk and run next to Sam. I don't want Sam to fall down! I like Sam's music class a lot. All the children sing, so I sing with them. Everyone thinks I am very funny.
After school I take Sam to buy an ice-cream. He always gives me some of his ice-cream. I love ice-cream! Then we walk home or take the bus. The people on the bus always tell me, "Good boy!"
In the evening, I sit next to Sam's chair to watch him. He eats dinner and then he does his homework. After dinner, we sit together to listen to the stories by mom. It's the happiest time in a day. At night, Sam sleeps in his bed. I sleep on the floor next to him. I don't want to leave him! It's my job to look after him, and he is my best friend!
Everyone knows that exercise is important. We all need to exercise. Doctors say it is good for us. It makes your heart and body strong. Children who often exercise are more active(活跃).
There are many ways to exercise. You can walk, run, swim, skate or play ball games. Make sure you exercise in the following ways: you have to like what you are doing. Exercise enough but not too much. It's best to exercise twice each week. Thirty minutes each time is enough. Try all kinds of things until you find one, two even three sports that feel right for you.
You can exercise at the sports centers. They have a lot of equipment there. The equipment will help exercise your arms, legs and other parts of your body which you want to exercise more. Some people buy equipment for their homes. But it's very expensive.
Exercising can be fun. Friends can exercise together at a sports center, or they can play sports together. How do you exercise?
Every Friday night, Winston would stand at the gate of the railway station, playing his violin happily. He smiled to everyone and many people put money into the hat in front of him. An Adventure(冒险)of a Mouse
I am a little mouse and I live with my mum, brothers and sisters in the cave(山洞)all the time. So I took a bag and put things that I thought I'd need to have along the way. Such as a toothbrush, some clothes, and, of course, my lucky bottle cap(瓶盖).
My Uncle Louie had found the bottle cap on his travels long ago. He was running from a fierce(凶猛的)cat. That's when Uncle Louie found the cap was so “lucky". He used it to slide down(滑下)a hill. At the foot of the hill, rushing water(湍急的水流) began to carry him away. So he could take the boat through the water. I listened to Uncle Louie tell me the story many, many times. One day, he gave me the lucky cap in surprise.
With that, I said my goodbye to everyone. Then I left the cave that I lived in for so long. Outside the sun was shining(闪耀).Birds were singing high in the trees. All of a sudden my ears caught the sound of something unusual. The sky darkened like night. The wind blew, strongly. I quickly looked for cover. There was none. Then it hit me. My bottle cap! . I placed it over my head just before one of the ice balls fell onto the cap. Scared, but not hurt, I sat still for some time. Then I smiled. The lucky cap had saved the day and my life!

Mr. and Mrs., Spencer both had very busy jobs and didn't have much time to spend with their young children. They wanted to change this, and because their hobby was boating, they decided to sail(航海)around the world together.
It took six years to prepare everything for the trip. First, they bought a new boat. The boat was not big, but they took a teacher for the children with them. None of them found the trip boring because there were three computers, many CDs, a TV and a DVD player on the boat.
The family loved being at the sea and seeing the stars in the sky. But, most of all, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer enjoyed spending time with their children when they were still young.
