I'm Susan, a student from China. I decided to study English for two weeks in the summer vacation, so I chose a language school in the UK.
It was a wonderful experience! The school was beautiful and the teachers were very nice and friendly. When I studied in the school, I stayed with an English family. The family didn't speak Chinese, so I had to try hard to talk with them in English. But it was a good way to practice my English. They lived in a beautiful house, only 20 minutes away from the school by bus. I loved staying with them, because they were very friendly and they had two daughters who were at my age: Jane and Melissa. Every morning, after breakfast, we took the bus to school.
Lessons started at 9:00 a. m. and finished at 1:00 p. m. I was free almost the whole after- noon, so I had lots of time to read English books after school. In the evening, I never went out. I liked watching TV for some time, and then went to bed early. On the weekend, Jane and Melissa took me to watch some sports games and visit some famous places.
This was my best summer vacation. My English got much better and I made a lot of new friends. Now I'm back at school in China and I'm sure my English grades will be much better!
Long time ago, there were two talented boys, John and Joe. They showed great talents from an early age, and they did better than others around.
They grew up but they chose different ways. John used all of his talents to find a good job. He took part in many activities and visited the most important people and places. Everyone thought that he would be the most important person in the world.
But Joe was different. He always took a heavy responsibility（责任）. He was always busy looking for ways to help others.
One day, bad things happened and they met many problems. John didn't know what to do. But Joe always tried his best to solve all kinds of problems. He thought of some good ways and didn't let the bad things affect（影响）the people in his town. From then on, he was more famous than John.
John then knew that our best talents were not only for ourselves. He learned from Joe that we should always help other people.

I love animals. We have tortoises, birds and fish at home and I help my dad feed them after school every day. They're really interesting and I love learning about animals It shows animals from every part of the world. It shows lions running after a deer, birds flying freely in the sky and whales swimming in the blue ocean. The photographers and cameramen get very close to the animals to show how they live in the world . I love the beautiful scenery, the clear explanations and all the interesting information in the program.
I first watched Animal World when I was five and became a fan of it.

Next time you're in a public place, take a look around you, and count how many people are using their phones. I can tell you, that it is probably than half, whether you're on a bus, in a cafe or simply down the street.

Recently, my smartphone down and I had to use a really old phone just to keep me in touch with my family and . I loved it. I loved being free from the Internet and I didn't mind not having updates（最新消息）about what my friends were doing. It allowed to spend more time enjoying my time in London and watching the people around me and really see was going on.

Sandy is my cousin. She's five years older me. She's very friendly and confident.
