Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and stepped on by the chances we take and the things that happen to us. We feel as if we are worth nothing. But remember, no matter what has happened to you, you will never lose your value: you are always valuable to those people who love you. Your value doesn't come from what you do or whom you know, but WHO YOU ARE.

Many children use the Internet to get useful knowledge (知识) and information, and to relax in their free time. But some of them are not using it in a good way. Here are some rules to make sure you are safe and have fun on the Internet.
◆Make rules for Internet use with your parents. For example, when you can go online, for how long and what activities you can do online.

In many places the weather changes during the year. These changes are called seasons. In the north and south there are four seasons in a year. At the North and South Pole, there are only two seasons. In tropical (热带) places near the Earths equator (赤道), there are two seasons a wet season and a dry season. Each season brings changes. They are important for plants and animals that live in different parts of the world.
Spring starts when the day and night are the same length. The weather gets warmer and sunnier. Trees and plants start to grow. Many animals have their babies in spring.
Summer begins on the longest day of the year. In the north this is on June 21 or 22. Summer is usually the warmest and sunniest time of the year. Fruit grows faster on trees and plants. Young animals grow bigger and stronger.
Autumn starts when the day and night are the same length again. During autumn, the leaves change color and fall down from the trees. Some animals collect food before winter comes.
Winter begins on the shortest day of the year. In the north this is on December 21 or 22.The weather is colder and in some places there is lots of snow. Plants and trees stop growing. Some animals, like bats and bears, find places to hide and sleep. This is called hibernation.
The life has been full of challenges and difficulties. Life is not about the smartest person or the strongest person, or even the richest person. However, Life is about having the mind in your heart "Never Give Up", even when you feel that giving up is the only choice. The world is waiting on your gifts.
You are important to this world and believe it or not, someone is waiting for you to enrich their lives. You are too important to the world to just give up.
You may feel that life is challenging you from time to time and you can't take it anymore. You may want to give up right now. But here is a thought, what will happen if you overcome the difficulties?
When an Olympic runner is in a race, he or she is focusing on one thing—the finishing line. You have to focus on the big picture—not just where you are right now. Focus in where you want to be. Make an agreement with your mind and your mouth.
One of my favorite poems is called "Crystal Stair" written by Langston Hughes. In that poem, a mother tells her son that life is tough, you will meet rocks and hard places, but the end is victory to those who stand their ground and ride the course.
Whatever you are facing, you can make it through. There is a rainbow on the other side of your situation. Stay strong, stay focused and never give up.

Communication is important for strong family relationships. However, if you don't r listen to others, it can be difficult to communicate.
When listening to a family member, it's important to stay in the situation to make your family member f he is heard. Remember to put your phone away and give them your full a. Just think about the speaker's words instead of what you'll say next when talking. Wait for a moment when the speaker stops. This will allow you to make sure w they have completely finished. Everyone wants to feel valued, so try to talk about your feelings or t after the speaker finishes. For example, "So, it sounds to me like you're a little sad with mom b you feel like she is not treating you like an adult." This can help you make sure you u the speaker.
Besides these, there are also some "Don'ts" you should remember while communicating with family members. First, don't start talking until the other person has finished. Second, don't offer advice u you are asked if someone just wants to talk. Third, don't change the subject even if it may make you feel unhappy, let your family member e themselves clearly. Fourth, don't hurry the speaker along. Never say things like, "Can you get to the point?" This will make it seem like you have never enjoyed the conversation.
