Daniel is one of my friends. Last week he got an award because he 1 the police catch a robber(抢劫犯).

One night, a young woman was driving along a country road. It was dark and rainy. Suddenly she saw an old woman by the side of the road, holding up her hand as if she wanted a lift(搭车).
"I can't leave her out in such bad weather," the young woman said to herself. She stopped her car and opened the door.
"Do you want a lift?" she asked. The old woman nodded and climbed into the car. After a while, she talked with the old woman. But the old woman didn't say anything. The old woman only nodded or shook（摇）head. She tried again." Bad weather for the time of the year" she said. The old woman nodded.
Then the young woman noticed that the old woman's hands, which were large and hairy (多毛的). Suddenly she realized(意识到)that" she" was a man! She stopped the car." I can't see out of the rear screen(后视镜)," she said. "Would you please help me clean it?
"The old woman" nodded and opened the door. As soon as "she" was out of the door, the young woman drove off as fast as she could.
When she got to the next village, she stopped. She noticed "the old woman left "her" handbag behind. She picked it up and opened it. Inside was a gun(枪).
Last year, on Philip's birthday, he decided to refuse to eat meat Philip's parents were not happy about that." You are a twelve-year-old boy," his mother said." You need meat." His mother put some beef, rice and carrots in front of him. "I want you to eat all your food now," she said." Don't leave anything," Philip didn't want to make his mother sad. But he ate only the rice and the carrots.
"You're a silly boy!" said his father." I'm getting very angrier with you."
"I'm sorry, Mum and Dad," answered Philip." I think it's not right to eat animals. They are our friends. I don't want you to be sad or angry. But I really don't want to eat any meat."
"Then have some fish, dear," said his mother.
"Oh no, I can't!" cried Philip." Fish are living things too."
"Well, you can't have anything to eat at all if you don't eat any meat or fish," said his father.
The next morning, his father walked to the school with him and asked to see the teacher." Is this what you teach the students at school?" he asked the teacher." Philip doesn't eat meat at home."
"I don't agree with Philip," replied the teacher." But we teach the students to do what they think is right."
I have a pet. His name is Lucky. My parents love him too. He is also one of our family members.
When he was a small dog, he was very shy and he seldom barked. Maybe the dog just wanted to play with him, but he stayed behind me and looked at me sadly.
However, my little dog barked loudly when there was a fire in the kitchen. I was very curious at that time why he became so excited and ran around me all the time.
There is an old saying about pets in my hometown: to love your pet is to love yourself. I can't agree with it more. When we stay together, we enjoy ourselves very much. Life is just like this: we need a friend with us till the end.

This time, I found it. It was a little cat. It looked very w in the cold morning. I didn't know what h to the poor cat. Maybe its mother died and left it alone. At last, I decided to take it back home and look after it myself.
