        Until the early twentieth century, it was always unsuccessful to transfuse blood(输血) from one person to another person.         Have you ever been in an animal rescue? It can be very heartbreaking, but sometimes, with land skill, a tragic story can turn into an inspiring one. This is what happened to Winter, the dolphin.

        Winter was found off the coast of Florida in December of 2005. She was just a few months old, a , and caught in a crab trap. The ropes from the trap were wrapped tightly around her body.

        The fisherman who found her called for help. And a rescue team soon arrived. But the s was really tough. The ropes had cut off the blood circulation to her tail. She was badly hurt. People didn't think she would survive. Most dolphins who become trapped in ropes die. Hoping for a miracle and racing against time to save her, the rescuers transferred her to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida.

        After much hard work, the doctors m to save Winter, but sadly, not her tail. Her tail were too damaged and had to be removed so Winter could live.

        The little dolphin Winter didn't die, but she would never be able to swim normally w a tail. Thankfully, the story doesn't end here. Winter was able to swim, but not very well. Because he didn't have a tail, she moved to her body in a side-to-side motion like a shark. But the doctors at the aquarium were w that the strange movement would hurt her back bones.

        Kevin Carroll heard Winter's story, and thought he could help. He is an expert who is good at treating disabled people. If he could help people, why not help a dolphin? He started working with Winter and came up with a solution. Now Winter can swim like other dolphins.

        Winter's story also e the disabled. We all have the right to live and to live well.

        I-Shou Lin(林义守) is a very successful businessman. When he was a child, he had no opportunity to get a formal education, but didn't let that hold him back. I-Shou university's medical school combines education and medicine to educate students to serve those in need.
